CO-PILOT 2
WHY IS THE CO-PILOT 2 A BETTER CHOICE?

 Data Logging Capability

  • The Co Pilot 2+ will have its own data logging capability, enabling it to function as a display AND logger. All Co-Pilot 2 units are upgradeable to logging capability.

The Best "Performance Monitor"

  • A Performance Monitor which shows the driver the Predicted Lap Time and Time Gain or Loss is the only data acquisition product that can help you go faster in the session you are driving "right now".

  • All other data acquisition products will only help you in the "next" session (after you view and analyze the logged data).

  • Our performance monitor software enables you to show the information in a way that is meaningful to you.

"Built-In" Intelligence

  • The Co-Pilot 2 has built in intelligence to show you the information you need to see, when you need to see it.

  • It runs in 3 main Modes, (Warmup, Run, and Review) and automatically switches from mode to mode. In Review mode The Co-Pilot 2 displays lap time and telltale reports.

  • Unlike other Dashes that display lots of different numbers and messages at once, the Co-Pilot 2 deliberately limits how many different items are displayed at once, yet if something important happens that the driver should know about, the Co-Pilot 2 automatically switches screens to show that information. This is proven to be less distracting and easier to understand.

  • Some dashes use 2, 3, 4 and even 6 buttons to operate them. The Co Pilot 2 uses 1. The difference is the Co Pilot 2's button does different things depending on the situation. Again, built-in intelligence.

Extreme Flexibility

Many of the Co-Pilot 2's features are completely controllable by the user. A few examples are:

  • Complete control of each individual shift light, different settings in warmup and Run modes.

  • Complete control of alarms and their actions, and how they are displayed, including the ability to "bump alarms, set the amount by which a alarm point is "bumped", and even how many times it can be bumped.

  • Alarms can be defined differently in each mode. A typical example is to have a LOW alarm for Oil Temperature in warmup mode and a HIGH Alarm for it in Run mode.

  • Complete control of the text labels used in messages and on the LCD screen.

  • Up to 7 "layers" or pages on the LCD screen (use as few or as many as you like).

Upgradeable

Most other systems in this price range are extremely limited when it comes to channel upgrades, limiting you to 8 or at the most 12 sensors.

  • The Co-Pilot 2+ can display AND log up to 37 inputs, giving you the option to add just about any sensors, such as wide band air fuels, EGT's, tire temperatures, load cells etc.

Simple, Obvious Setup Software

  • Easy to use Co-Pilot Link Windows software for configuring and managing your Co-Pilot 2. Free download here: Download page

Quality Design and Construction

  • Completely waterproof, billet aluminum case.

  • Plug & Play harness with waterproof connectors installed. No wiring required.

  • Most Dashes require that you mount them on rubber shock mounts. The Co-Pilot 2 mounts via 2 #10-32 female threads on the back and DOES NOT require rubber mounts because the electronics are internally shock mounted.

The "Right" Size

  • The compact size enables mounting on the inside of the even the smallest steering wheels.

  • The case is small but the LCD numbers and characters are large and easy to read.

Connectivity

  • Operates as a stand-alone dash or connects to the Commander II Data Logger.

  • Fully compatible with complete CDS Product Line, connects via the CDS TrackNet serial network.

Items Displayed by all Co Pilots:
